Still Fighting!

Wayne's All-Star team shook off that first lost and has kept battling! The boys are having a lot of fun with all this. Just to make things a little more exciting we saw a nice big dust storm coming in our way from the South East on Monday and from the South West on Tuesday!! It made for some interesting games. Monday was especially exciting because we were beating the team that beat us on our first game, but we could see that storm was coming. An older brother of one of the boys on Wayne's team had just come from Queen Creek where they're game was cancelled due to the storm. We didn't want the game to get called since we were winning, but we had to complete 4 innings to have it considered a complete game!!

I love Brett's mismatched McQueen socks--they're his favorite!

Things are still blooming

You'd think that nothing would be able to survive this heat especially the people!! But, our sunflowers just ripened, our lilies are blooming and the grass is growing!!

Just enjoying the day

Baseball has been consuming our entire life so we try to get things done on Saturday that we don't have time to do like cutting the boy's hair, enjoying the flowers on our lilies, or just hanging around for a few minutes!

1st All-Star Game

The boys played their hearts out, but they got a little beat up by the other team. It's double elimination though so we're still in the tournament!

No need to fear Batman is here!

We have Bruce and we have Wayne together they are Batman!!

Tons of fun!!

The boys are crazy, but they are so much fun and so stinkin' cute too if I do say so myself!!

We've got a summer fun jar going here. Whenever they do something nice for one of their brothers and that gets reported to me (by someone other than the person who did the service) they get to put beans in the jar. Once we reach certain lines we go do activities they picked out. First is Madagascar 3, second is Chuck E. Cheese, third is Amazing Jakes, and when the jar is all the way full we go to Sun Splash!! Austin turned the jar upside down and said, "look the beans are at the Sun Splash line!! Nice try but I don't think so ;)

Final Scrimmages

Wayne had a few good at bats during his final scrimmages before the real games begin. He's learned a lot being on this team and has had a great time. It's fun to see all the boys playing so well!
