Block Party
The kids look forward to the Block Party in Indigo Bay cul-de-sac every year. Unfortunately, Larry and I were trying to figure out whether or not we were supposed to play our violins when Luke and Brett got to the front of the line to go see Santa. I'm bummed I don't have that picture, but they had fun! I was told that Luke asked for a REAL Ben 10 watch so that he can really turn into different aliens. Brett had a Christmas Story moment and forgot what he wanted to ask for. Santa assured him that he could write him a letter and tell him what he wanted when he remembered :)

Misc Pics of the Week
The boys love to dress Bruce up--ok we all do! Wayne's favorite thing to do is to stick on of his own hats on Bruce's head :)
Austin was very excited about his Monkey's in a Barrel toy he got from the dentist.
I finally remembered that I had an exersaucer stored in my mom's attic and I picked it up for Bruce. He loves having a place to hang out, outside with is brothers!
And alas another one of my things has fallen prey to the boys. I loved this snow flake ornament, but the boys put the final nail in the coffin. I just pieced it together (what I could find of it) for the picture. It's a good thing I love all these boys because they sure are destructive!

Funny Board
The boys say funny things every day and I try to capture them, but many get lost. I have to trade out my phone today so I'm going through the funnies I've shared with the family. Here's a few I did take a moment to share:

I scared Brett and he laughed and said, "Ha! I scared you!!" Yeah, not exactly buddy ;)

Brett got really mad at me because I wasn't paying close enough attention to him while I was working. He suddenly shouted at me, "Mom, you're turning me into the HULK!!!"

I made myself a chocolate protein shake when Brett asked me what I was drinking. I told him it was a protein shake. He curled up his nose and said, "Yuck!! I don't like poopy shakes!!"

Brett wanted a treat from Sprouts and I told him no because I knew I was going to make treats for our company a little later. I told him that I was going to make brownies later and he said, "No I can't eat brownies because thems makes me fat!!"

Austin was brave enough to sing for the Relief Society activity. I could tell he got super nervous when it came time to perform and he saw all those ladies smiling at him! I asked him afterward if he was nervous and he said, "Yeah, I didn't know there were so many women in the ward!" He also told me that he figured he better get out of there fast before they tried to pinch his cheeks!

Temple Lights
We went with the Chapman's and the Lowry's to the temple lights for Family Home Evening tonight. We discovered our favorite night to go from now on is the Monday after Thanksgiving. It was great weather and not too crowded!

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!
We put up our Christmas decorations this weekend!! I love Christmas time--even though it does make life a little nuts! I just love that there are people spreading the spirit of Christ by serving each other, spreading cheer and well wishes. I love having the house decorated for Christmas. It's so exciting! And we love our Santa Baby!! He makes the Bruce makes the best Santa with that big belly of his--definitely looks like a bowl full of jelly! What was even funnier was that Luke can squeeze into the same outfit Bruce was wearing...it was just too short for him!
