Cars Land!!

We got 2 day one park per day passes because the savings really added up by the time I purchased enough tickets for our entire crew! So day one we went to California Adventure because Luke and Brett were dying to see Cars Land. It was pretty cool, but it was by far the busiest place in the park. We spent more time waiting in lines there than any where else. Brett wasn't sure that waiting in lines is what he signed up for!

When we walked into the park there was a "really cool car" parked in the entrance. The boys wanted me to take a picture and send it to Larry. They were missing their dad I think :) We spent a good portion of the morning at Cars Land until the boys got their fill.

Next was off to the roller coasters! Brett was big enough for everything except the California Screamin' Ride. He didn't seem to mind not being able to ride that one because frankly all the screaming people made him a little nervous! He really wanted to ride Soarin' over California though so when he found out he was big enough for that ride he was really excited. He puffed up his chest in pride and told everyone who would listen, "Yeah, I big 'nough!"

Wayne's favorite discovery of the park was the drawing classes. He would have been happy to stay there the rest of the day, but his brothers got bored after two classes. Sometimes it would be easier to not have such a big family, but what fun would that be?! Brett had a little help from Aunty Bailey, but his "Agent P." picture turned out really good! Wayne did an excellent sketch of Mickey Mouse and he finished off the body at the hotel.

Luke is such a nut. We were at the top of the ferris wheel and everyone was nervous, everyone except Luke that is. I realized that he was attempting to open the door while we were at the top of the wheel! Seriously?!

The colors show was really cool. I had never seen that before so it was fun to experience a few new things! By the end of the day, I think Austin was missing his dad because he kept trying to shoot the breeze with other kid's dad's while we were waiting for the colors show to start. The boys were definitely tuckered out by the time we called it a day!
