Big boy!!

Bruce is getting so big and learning how to play with toys and even sitting up a little bit! Can't believe he's almost 6 months old! Where does the time go?

Wrestling Match Day!

Highland High School's summer wrestling camp is a fun tradition for us. This year Wayne, Austin AND Luke got to wrestle. So what's the hardest part of wrestling...

...getting on the shoes!!

Luke had a great time wrestling and was really excited for his matches.

















Then he had to wrestle a kid in a singlet and full head gear...








....he was a little deflated after that :(

Austin did a great job too. He didn't win all his matches, but he maintained a positive attitude which is a huge victory!!

The summer wrestling camp is also lots of fun because so many of their cousins wrestle too. Here's the crew (minus Wayne because we couldn't get Wayne to pay attention to us and come over for a picture!)
Thankfully the coaches know us all and don't make the cousins wrestle each other if it can be avoided ;)

Wayne did awesome as usual. It's lots of fun to watch him wrestle. He's starting to get to a point where there's not a lot of competition for him. I guess we'll have to look into getting him in some tournaments where there's more competition for him :)

And what did Wayne's little brothers do while he was wrestling? Cheer him on? No way, that's not fun...they stole Grandma's phone and played games on it! Oh well at least they were sitting still ;)

And life is always better after a good hamburger, fries, soda and don't forget the cookies!

Third Place Finish!

The boys battled and battled and finished 3rd in the All-Star tournament! They were down by about 10 points when Wayne got up to bat and got a solid hit that coach tried to stretch and Wayne got thrown out, but he brought in the runner! Then they were down by about 8 points when Wayne got a monster hit out to the warning track to start the rally that ended up in a tie game!! Unfortunately the other team had a very large "10 year old" up to bat in the bottom of the 6th inning and he hit one over the fence with a couple kids on base :( It was sad to see them lose after battling back so hard, but they did awesome and finished third overall!! Great season...can't say we're too sad that we get our evenings back and don't have to brave the weather any more ;)








One of the mom's on our team was nice enough to take pictures of all the boys with her awesome camera and share them with us! These are mixed from all the games, but I'm just going to post them here. We're so proud of Wayne and all the boys!
