Wrestling Match Day!

Highland High School's summer wrestling camp is a fun tradition for us. This year Wayne, Austin AND Luke got to wrestle. So what's the hardest part of wrestling...

...getting on the shoes!!

Luke had a great time wrestling and was really excited for his matches.

















Then he had to wrestle a kid in a singlet and full head gear...








....he was a little deflated after that :(

Austin did a great job too. He didn't win all his matches, but he maintained a positive attitude which is a huge victory!!

The summer wrestling camp is also lots of fun because so many of their cousins wrestle too. Here's the crew (minus Wayne because we couldn't get Wayne to pay attention to us and come over for a picture!)
Thankfully the coaches know us all and don't make the cousins wrestle each other if it can be avoided ;)

Wayne did awesome as usual. It's lots of fun to watch him wrestle. He's starting to get to a point where there's not a lot of competition for him. I guess we'll have to look into getting him in some tournaments where there's more competition for him :)

And what did Wayne's little brothers do while he was wrestling? Cheer him on? No way, that's not fun...they stole Grandma's phone and played games on it! Oh well at least they were sitting still ;)

And life is always better after a good hamburger, fries, soda and don't forget the cookies!
