Things get so crazy sometimes when we're trying to get things done in the house (such has cleaning and packing up for a trip) that it gets to a point that I have to tell the boys if they're going to be crazy and/or not help out then they need to just go outside! That is what Austin and Luke opted to do Saturday morning as we were preparing to leave for our trip. They may be ornery, but they're still cute ;)
It was actually pretty cold and VERY windy up north over the weekend. Baby boy needed to be bundled up!
I couldn't resist taking this picture during church. They were just too cute! Wayne is such a great big brother!!So speaking of church that interesting as always. We had Hallee with us for the weekend and during sacrament meeting Luke burst into tears and cried to me, "Austin is teaching Hallee how to be like him--MEAN!!" Larry and I couldn't help but start laughing at that! (Luke wasn't amused.) I asked him what was going on and he said said, "Hallee called me a gum ball!" I said, "Well that's ok because gum balls are sweet and awesome!" He looked at me taken back a little bit and then said, "No, that's not what she meant!" Oh well it was worth a try ;) I know it's a lot of work, but I also know there is so much I am going to miss when they are all grown that I take for granted right now such as this line up of their church outfits!
And I couldn't resist taking this picture during family prayer. The little ones all wanted to be gathered around Grandma Beanie and it was such sweet moment. I couldn't help it!
On Monday the boys decided to give Kite Flying a try! It wasn't quite windy enough (saturday was way too windy and monday there wasn't enough--go figure!) But, they still had fun trying to get the kites up in the air.

Grandpa took the older kids on a hike to find and fight a bear! Luke came home telling me all about the bear that Grandpa Bill faught off ;) Grandpa also took Wayne and Austin to the park to practice baseball and help get Wayne ready for his big game Tuesday!!

Brett and Bruce had to stay back with me and Grandma during their adventures, but I let Brett play Angry Birds Space Birds edition and it was all good :) Bruce is always happy to hang out with the ladies. That means he gets plenty of sugar ;)
Speaking of sugar no memorial day weekend would be complete without root beer floats!
But since Bruce couldn't have a root beer float he thought maybe he'd try a stuffed teddy bear instead ;)

We all had a great trip including Darla! Our car was completely full! It was and awesome sight!
