Wayne's team won the first game of the championship series against the Sandgnats! Wayne had an awesome game and was part of a game changing grand slam series! It was so much fun to watch!!
Storm tops Sand Gnats in back-and-forth affair, 8-4
Storm outlasted Sand Gnats on Wednesday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 8-4 win at CS #1.
Storm finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. Stormscored on a home run by Spencer Willis off DJ Barrett, scoring Wayne Dunn,Jaiden Ibarra and Gabriel Ibarra.
The top of the first saw Storm take an early lead, 1-0. Ibarra singled to igniteStorm's offense. A single by Dunn then moved Ibarra from first to third.
Sand Gnats answered Storm's top inning with four runs of its own in the second. Sand Gnats scored on a passed ball, a steal of home by Aydin Hultman, an error, and an error.
