Wayne and Austin participated in a one mile race at ASU in connection with the PF Changs Rock N' Roll Marathon. Wayne ran with his running club and did a great job! He ran 25 miles prior to this race to complete a "marathon." My mom was nice enough to run with Austin since I'm out of commission still and Larry tweaked his back weight lifting earlier this week and hasn't been able to move much since! My mom said that some guy said to Austin, "You're not going to let her beat you are you?" (pointing to my mom) Austin got an ornery look on his face and when the signal was given to start Austin took off running full speed! Thanks a lot mister! My mom trailed Austin and waited for him to run out of steam. He learned a good lesson on the importance of pacing today ;)
